Cynthia is a registered yoga teacher, RYT500. Passionate about learning, she followed up her entry-level 200-hour Hatha Yoga Teacher Training with two 300-hour Advanced Yoga Teacher Trainings. Her teaching focuses on a mind-body approach, incorporating the neuroscience of yoga for optimizing nervous system regulation, as well as the biomechanics of poses to maximize benefits and prevent injury.
She also has over 30 years’ experience working in healthcare as both a registered psychotherapist and a registered dietitian. She combines her therapy skills with teaching yoga and mindfulness in her Mindful Yoga-based Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (MYACT) groups.
