Michel has been teaching yoga since 1997. He is a certified yoga teacher
who graduated from the two-year teacher training program at the Esther
Myers Yoga Studio in Toronto. Michel has studied many styles of yoga as
well as other practices, making him a versatile teacher.
Michel teaches a vigorous, physical style of yoga, focusing on
principles of the mind and body. He has a good knowledge of body
mechanics, as well as an intuitive understanding of the body and how it
relates to the postures. While he enjoys challenging his students, he
assists them to work at their own level and helps them with healing and
resilience.
Michel’s home practice often includes a bunny or two – he’s passionate
about his volunteer work to help and home domestic rabbits.
Michel Cote currently teaches Saturday mornings at 11 at Shangrila.
