Hi, I’m Krish.

I am based in London, Ontario, Canada, and my pronouns are she/her.

As a Trauma Center Trauma-Sensitive Yoga (TCTSY) facilitator and embodiment guide, I am passionate about creating a nurturing environment where individuals can explore their journey of self-reconnection. Struggling with self-esteem for much of my life, I discovered through these practices the comfort of being accepted just as I am—without external pressure to change. This transformative experience inspires me to help others find that same sense of security and authenticity.

My approach prioritizes choice-making, autonomy, and interoception, fostering a non-coercive and predictable environment where individuals can reconnect with their inner selves at their own pace. By encouraging participants to tune into their internal experiences, I aim to support them in cultivating agency and building a positive relationship with their bodies.

This practice is about holding space with compassion and neutrality, allowing individuals to explore their unique journeys free from judgment. I believe in creating inclusive and empowering environments where everyone feels supported to make choices that resonate with them.

If this resonates with you, I would be honored to walk alongside you on this path as you reconnect with your authentic self, honoring your healing and autonomy every step of the way.

What I do

I am a certified Trauma Center Trauma-Sensitive Yoga Facilitator (TCTSY-F) with a passion for supporting individuals through trauma-sensitive, body-based practices. Having completed over 1,000 trainings across diverse mind-body modalities, I continuously strive to refine and deepen my skills. Since 2017, I have had the privilege of facilitating mind-body practices with a dedicated focus on trauma-sensitive interventions. TCTSY is an evidence-based adjunctive treatment developed to support individuals navigating the complex impacts of trauma and PTSD. Rooted in the principles of trauma theory, attachment theory, and neuroscience, it prioritizes the creation of a safe, predictable, and non-coercive space where the unique experiences of trauma survivors are respected and honored. Participants are encouraged to make choices about their movements, fostering autonomy and a sense of agency. Through shared authentic experiences between facilitator and participants, trust and connection are cultivated, creating a supportive and equal environment. Practices emphasize interoception, inviting individuals to deepen their awareness of internal sensations and experiences. All offerings are invitational rather than directive, allowing participants to explore in ways that feel right for them.

Grounded in continuous learning and research, I am deeply committed to providing a trauma-sensitive approach that centers empathy, respect, and the lived experiences of those I hold space for.

Complex trauma and PTSD often interrupt a person’s connection to their body, their sense of stability, and their autonomy. At the heart of TCTSY is an invitation to rebuild these connections—fostering agency, rediscovering an authentic sense of self, and cultivating presence in the body. Through offering accessible, choice-based practices, I aim to support individuals on their journey with compassion, always respecting their pace and choices.

Krish is an Experienced Registered Yoga Teacher (E-RYT 500), a Yoga Alliance Continuing Education Provider (YACEP), and a certified Trauma Center Trauma-Sensitive Yoga Facilitator (TCTSY-F).

Overview

This immersive 100-hour training invites yoga facilitators, educators, wellness practitioners, caregivers, and individuals beginning their journey into mind-body facilitation into a spacious, embodied exploration of Trauma-Informed Yin Yoga.

Rooted in nervous system literacy, interoceptive awareness, and invitational language, the program offers a layered curriculum designed to support both personal transformation and professional integrity. Alongside trauma-informed methodology, participants will study Yin Yoga philosophy, foundational principles, and functional anatomy.

This includes understanding Yin’s principles, the intention behind long-held shapes, and how functional anatomy supports safe, adaptive, and choice-centred practice. Facilitators learn to recognize skeletal variation, fascia engagement, and joint range of motion—cultivating relational safety and compassion in how they guide others.

Education is approached as a shared journey—one that honours the wisdom already present within each participant and fosters autonomy throughout the learning process. Whether expanding a facilitation toolkit or cultivating a more ethical, attuned presence in holding space, this training becomes a place where healing meets learning—where each shape, pause, and prompt offers an opportunity for choice, care, connection, and integration.

Upon completion, participants receive a YACEP certificate that counts toward Continuing Education Units with Yoga Alliance. Graduates leave with the skills and confidence to facilitate Yin Yoga sessions grounded in safety, choice, empowerment, and functional awareness.
