Karin Kerfoot (RYT500) is a highly knowledgeable and experienced yoga teacher who brings both her yoga and medical training to the mat. Karin is skilled in teaching Vinyasa, Hatha, and Yin yoga, as well as leading meditation and breathwork (Pranayama). Her teaching style intentionally engages the body and the mind, and

Strengthen the Body, Calm the Mind with Karin
Mondays 9:30-10:45am
After a brief opening meditation and some light dynamic movement, Karin leads a Sun Salutation-based flow that blends classic poses with contemporary variations. Each class maintains a particular focus (an area of the body and/or technique) that is emphasized throughout the flow. Closing with an extended period of breathwork (pranayama for approx. 10 mins) and a restful Savasana, this practice connects the body, and breath.

Meditate, Move, and Breathe with Karin
Wednesdays 9:30-10:45am
This class is exactly as the name suggests: first meditation, then movement, then breathwork! After an opening meditation centered on the body, the breath, Karin highlights a focus for each class (a family of poses, technique, and/or area of the body). She then teaches an ease-full movement practice that brings together mobility, stretching, strength, and flow. Simple, calming breathwork (pranayama) follows, before a final restorative Savasana.

Yin

Monday 7:30 pm

Gently guiding you through poses that encourage a deep stretch and release of tension, you’ll move through a sequence of postures and will mainly stay on the ground. Incorporating long-held stretches designed to deeply open the body and calm the mind, you’ll find a feeling of being completely relaxed and rejuvenated. Wonderful for all levels, and great for those looking to unwind, reset, and nurture their body and mind.
